The Shannon Blueway Walking Route.

The Shannon Blueway canal walkway is now completed. It starts on the boardwalk across Acres Lake close to Drumshanbo to Drumharver Bridge (approx 5km from Drumshanbo) and on to Battle Bridge. Turn left at the bridge and it is then a further short walk to Leitrim village. It has become a very popular walking route.
